Gynecological Care

Integrative women's health care is available at Aurora Midwifery Services and Bella Vie Birth Center. We offer a variety of ongoing health and screening services. Anual exams, pap smears, and breast care are offered as part of the maternity care package. Contraceptive counseling and options are available to help families find the form of birth control that is the most suitable for them. Some women prefer Natural Family Planning as their method of birth control and education and instruction is offered.  Intrauterine device placement and removal is provided and covered by most insurance companies.

We also see women for a variety of health issues such as sexually transmitted infections, urinary tract infections, vaginitis and  menstrual problems. We also assess and treat thyroid dysfunction, PCOS, infertility and depression. Skin and genital tract lesion removal is available.

In our busy world it is difficult to care for our bodies the way we would wish to. We enjoy helping women find ways to optimize their health through nutrition, excercise, weight reduction, lifestyle changes, herbal remedies and supplements as well as alternative forms of health care.
